Fedora 24 released on 21st June of 2016 comes with GNOME 3.20, latest stable release of popular desktop environment available till the date. It also includes latest GNOME Software which comes with a lot improvements and ability to perform direct system upgrade. Fedora 24 has made a lot of improvement in using Wayland - A modern window manager. However, by default it is still using X window manager.
